Makenna Ford is 10!

Makenna turns 10 today! I can't believe she is in double digits. She is headed over to hoopfest this weekend to dominate and I have no doubt that she will! Makenna has always had a true heart of gold. There is nothing that she wouldn't do for someone, she is thoughtful, kind and truly heaven sent! Have a great day June bug and go get em' this weekend!!!!! Here are a couple pics from her party. This is the sundae bar we had at her party which she said was the best dessert she has ever had!!!

Gracies recital

Last Sunday Gracie had her hip hop recital and she did so great! She loves anything that involves a stage, a girl after my own heart! She is getting so old and grown up, and I am so proud of her, she was genuinely so happy to have my family there, and we wouldn't have missed it for the world! Great job Gracie Lou!!!!!

My Dad got her to sign his program!

First soccer practice.....

Mia had her first soccer practice on Saturday with Tay Tay of course! She did NOT like the first 15 minutes and after that she went crazy for the fun games. When it was over she asked for more soccer and Ryan told her "if you would have participated in the begining then you would have had more time to play!" I seconed that, and we made her run laps after practice for wasting our time :) We are looking forward to this Saturdays class, she better behave!!!!! J/K

Alexa Ford is 8!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that is munchkin is 8 today! I remember when she was 2, (Mia's age) and I cannot believe how fast she has grown up! She is funny, kind, smart, loves sports-and is great at playing them, she is sometimes spicy, she loves her family, she loves Mia and me ;) and I could not be more crazy about her. We are off to enjoy the sun for the first day of summer!

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

Yesterday we hit point defiance zoo and aquarium for the 3rd stop on our "top 10 list." Our first was the puyallap spring fair cause we always go to the fair and this year my little boy is due right in the middle of the evergreen fair in August, and our second stop was rattlesnake lake and Scott's dairy freeze. We had never been to point defiance and I think we might not go back! I mean we had a great time and we are glad that we went but there are so many other fun things to do in the summer we don't want to limit ourselves. This summer is pretty emotional for me, its my last summer working for the Ford family (officially) and due to my currant emotional state everything is making me weepy -like the last day of school I cried like a baby and the Nenna's looked at me like I was crazy. I have spent the last 6 years loving, playing, crafting, feeding, cuddling, laughing, very rarely re-directing, party planning and executing, field tripping, wiping tears, and mostly I've watched two very special girls grow up. Stay tuned as we dominate our top ten list!

Whidbey to see Mia's cousin

Ryan's sister Brittaney had her baby girl "Bailey Grace" last Saturday. They thought she was going to be Aidan (a boy) until she surprised everyone on her birth day saying "I'm a girl!!!" We took the ferry over on a beautiful day and had so much fun riding the big boat, and seeing "baby bee" according to Mia.

OH cute hubby and BOBO
She is OBSESSED with waiving at people!

First really sunny weekend.......

Today was the first HOT day we have had in Seattle since I can't even remember, we celebrated by hitting up some Fox Hollow and then after nap time Ryan took Mia hiking Rattlesnake then the Nenna's and I met them for some dinner and playing in the water. We are ALL so excited for summer.

Tam went to State!

Last Friday we headed down to Lacey for the 3A high school girls softball state tournament. The first game was probably one of the most exciting games Ryan and I had ever watched. We are so proud of Tam and her team took 8th in State. Mia was a trooper she even went napless for 10 hours of watching softball. That girl loves her sports.
